Baker Hughes in Brazil is seeking a Project Quality Engineer to drive quality management across project execution, customer delivery, and product realization. You will lead quality activities, ensure compliance with standards and customer requirements, and foster operational excellence.

You will collaborate with engineering, project management, manufacturing and quality teams, manage nonconformances, support tender reviews, and implement corrective actions while building strong stakeholder

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum of 5 years in quality, supply chain, customer care, project management, manufacturing or related fields.
• Fluent English and knowledge of quality systems required.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure contractual, regulatory and customer quality requirements are understood and fulfilled.
• Support tender and bid reviews by incorporating customer requirements and quality risks.
• Develop and maintain project quality plans, inspection points and records.
• Lead quality activities to support project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Manage nonconformances, deviations, concessions and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, manufacturing and quality teams.
• Investigate customer concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders through proactive communication.
• Monitor and report quality performance to customers and leadership.
• Promote continuous improvement across manufacturing, assembly, validation and project execution.

As a Project Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring effective quality management throughout project execution, customer engagement, and product delivery. You will lead project quality activities, ensuring compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations while driving customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

As a Project Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for :

• Ensuring contractual, regulatory, and customer quality requirements are understood and fulfilled throughout project execution.
• Supporting tender and bid reviews by incorporating customer requirements, lessons learned, and quality risks.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining project quality plans, inspection points, and quality records.
• Leading quality activities to support successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Managing nonconformances, deviations, concessions, and corrective actions in compliance with contractual requirements.
• Collaborating with engineering, project management, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure project quality objectives are achieved.
• Investigating customer concerns, identifying root causes, and implementing effective corrective actions.
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through proactive communication and customer engagement.
• Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting quality performance to customers and leadership.
• Promoting continuous improvement across manufacturing, assembly, validation, and project execution processes.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality, Supply Chain, Customer Care, Project Management, Manufacturing, or related functions.
• Have experience within Oil & Gas, Subsea, or project-based environments preferred.
• Have fluent English skills.
• Have strong knowledge of quality systems, standards, and customer requirements.
• Have experience with problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies such as A3, 8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma.
