THE ROLE

Responsible for managing the local implementation of Temenos product (T24) projects. The role’s primary focus is to plan, execute, and deliver the local development or customization work for the project. Hands-on knowledge and experience in end-to-end custom software development in a distributed model are required for this position. Responsible for coordinating and reporting the status of work from the other stakeholders of the project. Specifically, the responsibility of the delivery manager is to provide the collective status of the project by working closely with the helpdesk, Core Development, Distribution, GPACKs, Country Model Bank, PQC, etc.

OPPORTUNITIES

You will be able to work with Temenosians around the world in:

  • Project Planning and Delivery Management
    • Overall responsibility of planning, execution and delivery of developments/enhancements as per the committed releases, dates and with expected quality levels
    • Work with Product Directors/Product Managers/Development Teams to define code drops and coordinate the alignment of code drop dependencies
  • Resource Planning & Utilisation
    • Responsible for overall planning of resources based on project demands
    • Manage allocation of resources to various tasks
    • Ensure effective utilization of resources and control effort spent on overrun and support
  • Quality Control & Assurance
    • Ensure allocation of defect fixes as per priority
    • Coordinate different activities (Coding, Code Review, Testing, Regression & Integration), ensuring the fixes are delivered on time and within SLA
    • Provide necessary and periodic updates / fix dates to the Support Management Team
SKILLS
  • You should have experience in information systems project management, ideally in a banking environment.
  • You should have ability to deliver on time, on scope, on quality
  • You should be able to work efficiently in a matrix environment with little or no direct authority over the project team members including partner teams
  • You should have experience w orking with co-DMs /Senior DMs to allocate resources for the best possible outcome across Product
  • You should have Project Management skills including: Estimating, Scope Management, Budget Management, Time Management, Risk Management, Change Management, Issue/Conflict Resolution, Communication Management, Quality Management, Testing Plans, Training Plans, Team Management.
