Sr. Service Deployment Program Manager (2 openings) - Contractor (Remote)

Location: Remote (occasional travel to client sites; expenses covered)

About the Role

We are supporting one of our clients in the search for an experienced Service Deployment Program Manager to lead the implementation of complex technology platforms in on-premises environments. This professional will oversee all phases of service delivery – from planning and coordination to testing and deployment – ensuring successful integration and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Deployment Projects: Manage end-to-end platform deployments in on-premises environments, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
• Service Delivery Management: Oversee all aspects of service delivery and ensure alignment with client requirements and best practices.
• RACI Development: Define roles and responsibilities across stakeholders to ensure clarity and accountability throughout the project.
• Network Design & Documentation: Create detailed network diagrams and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Testing & Validation: Develop and execute comprehensive test plans covering performance, functionality, and security.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between clients, vendors, and technical teams, maintaining transparent communication and progress tracking.
• Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks, propose mitigations, and ensure smooth execution of deployments.
• Reporting & Continuous Improvement: Maintain detailed documentation and propose process enhancements for future projects.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Experience: 10+ years of experience in project/program management focused on on-premises platform deployments.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of network architecture, integrations (API, DevOps), and platform deployment models; hands‑on experience creating RACIs, test plans, and managing complex delivery timelines.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deliver results under tight deadlines.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to bridge technical and non-technical teams.
• Certifications: PMP or similar certification highly desirable.
• Mindset: Analytical, proactive, and focused on delivery excellence.
