A leading food processing company in Brazil is seeking a Production Lead to guide hourly team members in achieving production goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, along with a high school diploma. Experience in GMP and HACCP is preferred. The role requires working in a cold, wet environment and offers a competitive wage scale between $22.00 – $24.00 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits including medical and paid time off.
The Lead directs hourly Team Members to meet goals related to production schedules, food safety/quality, and workplace safety. As a member of management, the Production Lead will be required to achieve department and facility objectives; and must be able to direct, train, coach and counsel other Team Members in accordance with company policy and procedure. Responsible for enforcing company work rules and policies including the effective recommendation of discipline for employees under the lead’s direction.
May require working on feet for long hours, bending, and stooping.
Must be able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
Must be able to frequently and regularly use wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents, products, or operate machinery.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
Must be able to work for long hours in a food processing environment, where it is wet, damp, and cold. Temperatures are frequently around 34 degrees, and employees are expected to remain in these conditions for the majority of their work days.
