A logistics fulfillment platform company in Brazil is looking for a Product Owner to manage the product backlog and ensure task flow for deployment goals. In this role, you'll collaborate with teams to translate strategy into actionable tasks and validate that new features effectively solve user and business problems. The ideal candidate should have strong product management skills, excellent communication abilities, and familiarity with software development processes. This is a full-time remote position.

Metrobi operates with a mission to enhance efficiency and scale for local makers and distributors.

Responsibilities
  • Backlog & Kanban Management: Own the Kanban board: organize tasks, ensure priorities are clear and understand what is stopping us from maintaining our task flow to hit our deployment goals. Communicate risks, issues, blockers, and quality concerns to the PM and relevant team members.
  • Task Definition & Refinement: Review and write descriptions for tasks about new features, improvements and bug fixes. Ensure problems are well explained and solutions is testable and aligned with product goals. Collaborate with the Product Manager to translate strategy into actionable tasks.
  • Validate Outcomes, Not Just Output: After new features or fixes go live, verify whether they truly solved the original problem and improved the targeted user or business metrics.
Qualifications
  • Strong skills in Product Management and Business Analysis to define and evaluate product requirements effectively.
  • Excellent Communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Software Development processes and tools to coordinate effectively with technical teams.
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Skills like SQL, Git, reading Python code and doing data analysis are very beneficial, but not required.
