The role focuses on defining requirements, refining user stories, and ensuring clarity and traceability throughout the development lifecycle. Experience with agile methods and tools is essential.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering and Definition
• Elicit and detail functional requirements and business rules with clients and internal stakeholders;
• Understand clients' needs, challenges and objectives, translating them into viable solutions for the platform;
• Write user stories, acceptance criteria, flows and functional specifications;
• Ensure clarity and traceability of requirements throughout the development lifecycle;
• Validate proposed solutions considering impact, effort, risks and product fit.
• Demand and Backlog Management
• Manage and prioritize the backlog for initiatives under your responsibility;
• Support delivery planning together with the technology teams;
• Ensure alignment between client expectations, business priorities and team capacity;
• Identify dependencies, risks and potential impacts on deliveries.
• Collaboration with Technology Teams
• Work closely with development, QA, architecture and technical leadership teams;
• Participate in functional refinements and support clarifications during development;
• Validate deliveries ensuring adherence to defined requirements;
• Support user acceptance testing and ensure the functional quality of implemented solutions.
• Client and Stakeholder Relations
• Act as the primary functional point of contact for the projects under your responsibility;
• Lead discovery, alignment and progress meetings for initiatives;
• Communicate status, risks, dependencies and results to stakeholders;
• Manage client expectations and support decision‑making.
• Project Management and Monitoring
• Track the progress of initiatives from conception to delivery;
• Ensure business objectives are achieved through implemented solutions;
• Support the creation of functional schedules and delivery milestones;
• Contribute to continuous improvement of requirements gathering, specification and delivery processes.

Requirements

• Experience working as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Functional Analyst or similar roles;
• Experience in gathering and specifying requirements for software development;
• Experience in implementation, customization or system evolution projects;
• Ability to translate business needs into clear, structured requirements;
• Experience prioritizing backlog and tracking deliveries in agile teams;
• Experience interacting between clients and technical teams;
• Knowledge of agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban;
• Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps or similar;
• Ability to understand technical concepts and discuss solutions with engineering teams;
• Knowledge of process modeling and business flow design;
• Familiarity with system integrations, APIs and enterprise ecosystems.
