Job summary

Bluehost is seeking a Principal Engineer to provide deep technical leadership for our hosting platform. You will set architecture standards, design large-scale Python services on Linux with MySQL, and guide modernization of Perl-based and cPanel systems without impacting live customers.

You will drive site reliability engineering practices, partner with DevOps and SRE teams, and define AI-augmented delivery standards across the org. Mentoring and roadmap ownership are key expectations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend/infrastructure engineering experience.
• Expert-level Python and Linux systems knowledge at production scale.
