A leading global AI firm is seeking a Portuguese Language Expert - Annotator/Evaluator to evaluate model outputs and conduct data annotation. The ideal candidate should have native or fluent proficiency in both Portuguese and English, possess strong attention to detail, and be interested in AI or chatbots. This remote contract position offers competitive hourly rates, providing flexibility in scheduling while requiring 20 or more hours per week. Payments are processed monthly through Deel.

About the job We are an HR company specializing in the management of AI model training talent worldwide. We are currently on behalf of a leading global AI company, confidentially looking for an Portuguese Language Expert - Annotator / Evaluator (LLM).

Type : Contract

Compensation : $3–$8 / hour

Location : Remote

Commitment : 20+ hours / week

Role Responsibilities

• Understand user tasks or questions (prompt) and evaluate model outputs according to defined standards, conducting structured data annotation
• Classify model responses and assess whether they meet user needs
• Follow the provided training, workflows, and rules to complete double-blind evaluations and quality checks
• Record issues discovered and provide feedback on questions or uncertainties encountered during evaluation
• Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines

Qualifications Must-Have

• Native or fluent proficiency in Portuguese and English
• Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail
• Ability to follow detailed guidelines and deliver high-quality work independently
• Interest in AI, chatbots, or image recognition models

Preferred

• Experience with data annotation
• Competitive hourly rates, adjusted for geography

Payments are issued monthly via Deel.

Classified as an independent contractor.
