We are seeking a Plant Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the plant’s operational excellence, translating corporate strategy into consistent results across quality, cost, delivery, and safety. The role involves developing leaders, strengthening a continuous improvement culture, and positioning the operation as a regional benchmark, while ensuring sustainability, predictability, and long-term business competitiveness.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the plant to consistently achieve targets related to Safety, Environment, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People.
  • Drive the plant through a period of operational and organizational transformation, ensuring sustainability of results.
  • Define and communicate a long-term site vision, engaging leadership and workforce in its execution.
  • Translate regional and corporate mid‑term strategies into a structured plant Mid‑Term Plan.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and ensure deployment down to departments, cells, and individual work plans.
  • Ensure the operation of documented, capable, and sustainable management and operating systems, with clear ownership and KPIs.
  • Build, develop, and sustain a strong leadership team with clear accountability and performance‑based roles.
  • Establish and maintain robust routines for data‑based decision making, standardized and effective meetings.
  • Daily management and performance review processes.
  • Visual and proactive communication.
  • Fair and consistent people discipline.
  • Foster high employee engagement through safety leadership, continuous improvement, capability building, and recognition systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Business Administration (mandatory).
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree strongly preferred.
  • Professional experience – minimum of 10 years of leadership experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Proven experience as Plant Manager or equivalent senior site leadership role.
  • Background in multinational industrial organizations with structured governance models.
  • Experience managing large, unionized workforces.
  • Strong exposure to operational excellence systems such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma, or equivalent.
  • Solid technical understanding of manufacturing operations.
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate strategy into disciplined execution.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and ability to deliver results through others.
  • Proven capability to lead change, transformation, and cultural evolution.
  • High emotional intelligence, self‑awareness, and learning agility.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills across multiple organizational levels and cultures.
  • Track record in developing leadership talent and building high‑performing teams.
