Overview

Responsible for planning, executing and acting in all stages of the Material Planning process at the Taubaté Plant: managing the “SAP Material Master Data”, controlling BOMs and their respective changes, analyzing demands and project deadlines, planning materials in the ERP/Excel Controls, ensuring accurate and on-time supply/re-supply.

This professional will interface with the head office and branches in all Alstom locations (various departments) and Local and Global Suppliers.

Producing controls, reports, performance indicators, presentations, defining/improving processes and performance indicators on a routine basis. As well as acting in the Delivery Center's daily processes:

Responsibilities
  • Management of Supplier Portfolio in SAP and Indicators in Excel and/or BI;
  • Updating of MRP and Material Masterdata in SAP;
  • Monitoring of Commercial Contracts with Purchases and issuing of Spot POs and Schedule Agreements in SAP;
  • Daily follow-up with national and international Suppliers and feedback to interested parties;
  • Analysis of delivery/production scenarios and action on recovery plans with Suppliers in conjunction with internal client areas;
  • Management of meetings with Suppliers, Peers and Coordination;
  • Monitor material planning processes from origin to destination, with the aim of ensuring the supply chain performs on time with accuracy.
Requirements
  • Technological and/or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Engineering
  • Minimum Experience: Material Planning Management, Change management, Materials parametrization in the System
Knowledge/Skills (Technical or Behavioral)
  • Dynamism: to deal with different situations in a creative, positive and flexible way. The routine of the area means that the professional has surprises every day;
  • Creativity: to propose alternatives and solutions to routine problems (focus on the solution instead of complaining about the problems);
  • Disposition and intensity: in addition to dealing with a high volume of situations at the same time on a daily basis, the professional may need to “put out several fires” at any time.
  • Fluency in communication: the professional must be able to clearly convey what he/she needs from the interfaces. And understand well what is required of him/her. And know how to reproduce this understanding in his/her actions/activities.
  • Teamwork: Have the ability to clarify the facts and reconcile needs. As well as knowing how to overcome moments of tension, with the aim of gaining the trust and affection/collaboration of the entire team.
  • Knowing how to manage conflicts: Put yourself in the other person's shoes. Listen to all the different points of view of those involved. Be rational when negotiating with everyone involved. Have self-control. Stimulate dialogue between the parties.
  • Discipline: Be consistent and persistent, that is, dedicate yourself to completing the agreed tasks until you achieve the final objective, meeting the requirements of: safety, quality, cost and delivery. As well as being able to eliminate time-wasters that prevent you from achieving your goals in the necessary time, draining your energy, tiring you out and taking your focus away from what is really important. Examples: inappropriate use of social networks, emails, phones, people, random/long-winded conversations.
  • Focus on results: Develop a plan of what you want, with a date and small goals that can be achieved in the short term. Use this plan as your daily guide (always looking at it). Be able to review your goals, and as you achieve them, set new and more ambitious goals. Also, share your goals with others, exchange ideas with your team and peers with the aim of making things happen.
Language
  • English is desirable (able to speak/read/understand, respond to emails, etc.).
