Job summary

ALS is seeking an analytical chemist to develop, optimize and validate LC-MS/MS and GC-MS/MS methods across diverse matrices. You will perform sample preparation, extraction and processing of samples, ensuring data traceability and quality.

Responsibilities include training technicians, supporting audits, and maintaining records to ensure regulatory and quality compliance while contributing to a healthier future.

Qualifications

• Develop, optimize and validate analytical methods using LC-MS/MS and/or GC-MS/MS for diverse matrices.
• Perform sample preparation, extraction and processing of samples.
• Interpret and validate raw data, chromatograms and spectra.

Responsibilities

• Train and guide laboratory technicians on methodologies and projects.
• Support internal and external audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with quality systems.
• Maintain laboratory records, data integrity and technical documentation.

At ALS, we encourage you to dream big.When you join us, you’ll be part of a global team harnessing the power of scientific testing and data-driven insights to build a healthier future.Desenvolver, otimizar e validar métodos analíticos utilizando LC-MS/MS e/ou GC-MS/MS para diferentes matrizes.Executar o preparo, extração e processamento de amostras.Manusear padrões analíticos, reagentes, materiais de referência e matérias-primas, assegurando rastreabilidade e conformidade.Operar, monitorar e realizar manutenções preventivas e corretivas básicas em equipamentos cromatográficos e espectrômetros de massas.Elaborar, revisar e atualizar procedimentos operacionais padrão (POPs), formulários, protocolos e relatórios técnicos.Conferir, interpretar e validar dados brutos, cromatogramas, espectros e resultados analíticos.Apoiar a elaboração de protocolos até a emissão dos relatórios finais dos estudos sob sua responsabilidade.Gerenciar e manter sistemas e planilhas de controle, registros laboratoriais e documentação técnica, garantindo a integridade dos dados.Treinar e orientar técnicos e auxiliares de laboratório quanto às metodologias, procedimentos e projetos em andamento.Apoiar inspeções, auditorias internas e externas, incluindo avaliações de órgãos acreditadores e regulatórios, como o INMETRO.Atuar em conformidade com os requisitos de Boas Práticas de Laboratório (BPL), sistemas de qualidade e normas aplicáveis.Working at ALSThe ALS team is a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world.Our values are important to us, and shape how we work, how we treat each other and how we recognise excellence.At ALS, you’ll be supported to develop new skills and reach your full potential.
