Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Web Analytics Engineer to lead the technical development, QA, and deployment of analytics solutions across web and mobile. You will own tagging, data layers, and cross-channel reporting using Adobe Target, Launch, and CJA within a fast-moving marketing analytics team.

Collaborate with marketing and UX, document architecture, and ensure data accuracy to drive optimization for Fortune 500 clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in web analytics implementation and digital optimization.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying tests in Adobe Target (VEC and Form-based experiences, Profile Scripts, Recommendations).
• Solid, hands-on experience with Tag Management Systems, specifically Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection (Launch).
• Working experience configuring and analyzing data within Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) or traditional Adobe Analytics (Omniture).
• Solid understanding of digital data layers (W3C standards, event-driven data layers) and event tracking.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous approach to QA and data validation.

• Work collaboratively with marketing and UX teams to assess the technical feasibility of proposed experimentation strategies.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of tag management architecture, data layers, and active Target campaigns.

NICE TO HAVES

• Familiarity with Single Page Application (SPA) tracking and modern JS frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
• Experience integrating Adobe Target with Adobe Analytics (A4T).
• Understanding of the broader Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), RTCDP, or Edge Network implementations.
• Experience with Server-Side tagging or edge computing setups.
