A global financial technology company seeks a People Partner in São Paulo to strengthen people experience. This role involves managing stakeholders, ensuring labor compliance, and executing strategic HR initiatives. The ideal candidate has proven experience in HR, strong knowledge of Brazilian labor law, and excels in dynamic environments. This position offers collaboration with global stakeholders and the opportunity to shape HR practices.
You’ll be part of our Global People Team, working side by side with leaders in Engineering, Finance, and GRC and Legal to strengthen SumUp’s people experience in Brazil.
Reporting to our Head of People in Berlin, you’ll connect strategy and execution, bringing global initiatives to life locally.
Your focus will be on building strong partnerships with leaders, creating clarity amid complexity, and ensuring that our people’s practices support both performance and growth.
You’ll also take ownership of strategic people projects, helping us scale sustainably.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders in Brazil and Europe, becoming a trusted advisor on both strategic and operational topics.
You’ll report to a global leader based in Berlin and collaborate daily with peers across multiple regions and disciplines.
You’ll take ownership of initiatives that shape our People practices and culture across global functions.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, feedback-driven environment that values autonomy, learning, and fun.
