What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end payroll process for the global workforce, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness
• Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures that comply with local and international regulations
• Perform month-end close responsibilities including booking journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to align payroll processes with overall company objectives
• Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees in a timely and professional manner

What is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in payroll, preferably in a fintech or technology-driven company
• Extensive knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements in the U.S.
• Proficiency in payroll software and systems, with the ability to implement and optimize new tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPP) is a plus
• Experience managing payroll operations in India
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
