What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Develop and implement Partner sales strategies aligned with the employer’s business objectives to achieve revenue targets
- Build and manage relationships with assigned partners, serving as the primary point of contact for their teams
- Identify, recruit, and onboard new partners into the Partner Program, providing them with necessary tools and knowledge
- Enable partners on the employer’s value propositions and coordinate training and certification activities
- Collaborate with sales teams to build joint pipelines and execute co-selling motions, while tracking progress through regular business reviews
What is Required (Qualifications)
- 5+ years of experience in partner/channel management, alliances, or sales within the enterprise software or cloud/SaaS industry
- Familiarity with major Chicago-based Enterprise Resellers
- Strong partner relationship and business development skills, along with excellent presentation and negotiation abilities
- Must possess a data‑driven mindset to track KPIs, forecast growth, and report performance
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Familiarity with the employer’s products, VMware Workspace ONE & Horizon, or competing technologies in the VDI, EMM, and Application Virtualization space
- Proven ability to build actionable relationships with various stakeholders within partner organizations
- Experience in supporting partners in developing best‑in‑class sales and managed services practices
