Job Description

Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Operations in Brazil, the Order Entry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the order entry process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing customer orders. This role involves managing a team of order entry specialists, maintaining data integrity, and collaborating with various departments to meet customer needs and company goals. Working based on the company policies; the manager is directly responsible to assure all the orders are under compliance.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the order entry team to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders.
  • Develop and implement order entry procedures and best practices.
  • Monitor order processing systems and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency in order entry systems.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, and warehouse teams to resolve order-related issues.
  • Analyze order entry data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Train and mentor order entry staff to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Maintain and update order entry documentation and training materials.
  • Generate and analyze reports on order processing metrics and performance.
  • Lead a team of order analysts engaged in order entry activities.
  • Support conflict resolution as needed and foster adherence to Teledyne’s standards of ethical business conduct.
  • Establish and drive the daily priority of work for the team. Coordinate with adjacent departments to ensure the timely delivery of products and services to customers.
  • Foster an environment of collaboration and unity; build relationships with adjacent departments to promote cooperation and mutual success.
  • Embrace change and drive management initiatives focused on process improvement, increased efficiency, and business growth.
  • Administer employee time and attendance reporting.
  • Oversee the administration of orders and Contracts analysis using SAP and related enterprise business applications.
  • Ensure all work assignments are performed in accordance with Company’s Policy and Compliance.
Job Qualifications
  • Two-year general business degree or equivalent work experience in a customer service role or sales operations
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience with direct report responsibility
  • Two years of hands-on experience with SAP or a similar ERP system
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish; other language skills a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to multitask in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize and organize a variety of functions relating to the position

This position requires access to export-controlled information or items (i.e. regulated technology or technical data per ITAR/EAR US regulations). Applicants must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
