Overview

Rebag is an e-commerce company redefining luxury in the secondary market. The company operates online and in stores, with locations in Los Angeles, New York and Miami. Rebag is seeking a full-time Operations Associate to join the Tokyo office (REBAG JAPAN G.K.). This is an opportunity to work in a fast-growing startup in its early stages and contribute to the future of collaborative luxury.

Reporting remotely to the Japan Operations Manager, the role collaborates with the Operations/Buying/Bizdev teams in Japan and the US.

Responsibilities
  • Preparing and filing forms and other documents.
  • Updating logs and order forms.
  • Analyzing all operations and forwarding improvement suggestions to the Manager.
  • Managing general office needs (vendor/partner communications, purchasing office supplies, coordinating repairs, document handling, etc.).
  • Scheduling meetings and team-building sessions as required.
  • Providing support to the Operations Manager and team members as needed.
  • Communicating with logistics partners and resolving shipment issues; providing shipping information to logistics.
  • Creating shipping lists with necessary information and sending them to logistics before merchandise arrives at the warehouse.
  • Daily monitoring of all shipments from Japan in the inventory system; updating orders with tracking information from logistics.
  • Communicating with the NY Head Quarters on shipment inquiries related to Japan operations.
Qualifications and Expectations
  • Must be living in Latin America.
  • Fluent in English and Japanese (written and verbal).
  • Hands-on attitude; hard-working and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive, high-energy, team-oriented with collaboration and an open mind.
  • Detail-oriented with strong data entry, processing, reporting, and analytical skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in MS Office (especially Excel).
  • Previous experience in retail and logistics (WMS) is ideal.
  • Availability to work across different time zones.
