Getnet Platforms in São Paulo, Brazil is seeking a Mid-Level QA to join our testing team. You will develop automated tests for APIs, back-end, and front-end systems and contribute to a shift-left quality approach.

The role emphasizes REST API testing, SQL data validation, and CI/CD integration, with a hybrid work model requiring about 60% on-site presence.

Qualificações

Proven experience as a Test Analyst/QA Analyst in an Agile team environment.
Java development applied to testing.
Test automation with Selenium WebDriver.
REST API testing tools: Postman and/or Insomnia and/or Thunder Client.
Git/GitHub for version control.
Agile methodologies: Scrum or Kanban.
Knowledge of BDD and TDD.
Currently pursuing or completed a technology-related degree.
Attention to detail with financial data.

Responsabilidades

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for APIs, back-end, and front-end applications.
Create test scenarios based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
Execute automated tests and report defects clearly.
Design and document manual test cases, including receipts vs. transactions.
Validate integrations through REST APIs and SQL data reconciliation.
Prepare test data in non-production environments; use mocks when needed.
Collaborate with developers to analyze problems and improve processes.
Document test automation best practices and CI/CD testing pipelines.
Track quality metrics and maintain evidence for audits.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Mid-Level QA | Testing & Quality Assurance these wil be some of the key activities in your day-to-day role:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts for APIs, back-end, and front-end applications.
Create test scenarios based on functional and non-functional requirements, covering exception flows within the payments domain, including full and partial refunds, cancellations, declined transactions, installment payments, Pix transactions, and receipt reissuance.
Understand requirements and support the definition of acceptance criteria during refinement sessions, applying a shift-left approach to reduce rework.
Execute automated tests, interpret results, and report defects with clear and reproducible evidence.
Design, execute, and document manual test cases, including field-by-field validation of receipts against the originating transaction and the underlying database records.
Validate integrations through REST APIs and reconcile data using SQL (transaction - generated receipt - information displayed in the channel).
Prepare and manage transaction test data in non-production environments, using mocks/stubs when necessary.
Collaborate with developers in problem analysis and improvement initiatives, working alongside the team rather than acting as a gatekeeper at the end of the delivery process.
Document processes and contribute to the squad’s test automation best practices.
Support the continuous improvement of the CI/CD testing pipeline by expanding automated regression test coverage.
Track and communicate quality metrics, including test cycle results, defects by origin and severity, and defects that escape into production.
Ensure traceability and maintain the evidence trail required for regulatory requests and audit processes.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are in search of a Mid-Level QA to join our team in São Paulo SP Brazil , with the following qualifications and background:

Mandatory Requirements

Proven experience as a Test Analyst/QA Analyst in an Agile team environment (Mid-Level), with autonomy to drive the quality of their own deliverables end to end;
Java development applied to testing;
Test automation with Selenium WebDriver (element mapping, functions, and structuring best practices);
REST API testing tools: Postman and/or Insomnia and/or Thunder Client;
Git/GitHub for version control (branches, pull requests, code reviews);
Agile methodologies: Scrum or Kanban;
Knowledge of BDD and TDD;
Currently pursuing or completed a degree in a technology-related field (Systems Analysis and Development, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related areas);
Attention to detail when working with financial data and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable requirements

Intermediate SQL for data validation and reconciliation;
Automation frameworks: JUnit, Cucumber, Mockito, TestNG, RestAssured;
CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions (automation pipelines);
Experience in payment processing/acquiring: authorization, capture, settlement, and reconciliation lifecycle; NSU (Unique Sequential Number), authorization code, chargeback, Pix;
CTFL Certification (ISTQB Foundation Level);
Automated validation of generated documents (PDF parsing, layout comparison);
Messaging and event-driven systems (Kafka, MQ), microservices, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure);
Performance testing (JMeter, k6);
Knowledge of LGPD (Brazilian General Data Protection Law) and handling of sensitive data (card masking and cardholder data masking in test environments and logs);
Testing of mobile applications and/or POS terminals.
