Jobtailor in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is seeking a cybersecurity analyst to monitor security tools, investigate alerts, and support incident response activities.

You will collaborate with IT and development teams, help maintain firewalls and VPNs, contribute to playbooks, and assist in achieving LGPD and ISO 27001 compliance.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or related fields.
• Experience in cybersecurity or information security.
• Experience with log analysis, endpoint security, alert identification, and basic incident investigation.
• Knowledge of NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001.
• Knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls) and operating systems (Windows and/or Linux).
• Good communication, teamwork, and strong organizational skills.
• Technical reading proficiency in English.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and operate security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, EDR) to identify alerts and potential threats.
• Support analysis and investigation of security incidents, following defined incident response procedures.
• Assist in configuring, maintaining, and optimizing security solutions such as firewalls, VPNs, and corporate antivirus.
• Perform vulnerability analyses and support patch management, escalating risks when necessary.
• Contribute to the creation and updating of playbooks and security operational procedures.
• Interact with IT, infrastructure, and development teams to support security initiatives.
• Collaborate on security awareness activities for employees.
• Assist in meeting compliance requirements, such as LGPD, ISO 27001, and other applicable standards.
• Produce operational reports and support the consolidation of security metrics.
