Jobgether in Brazil is seeking a mid-level GoLang developer to build scalable backend services in cloud-native environments. You will work across the SDLC, from design to deployment, with microservices and APIs, using Go to deliver robust systems.

The role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, Docker and Kubernetes, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), and modern DevOps practices to ensure reliability, performance, and security.

This is an opportunity for a mid-level backend engineer to build robust, scalable systems using Go in modern cloud environments. You’ll contribute across the software development lifecycle, from solution design and implementation through deployment and maintenance. The role combines hands‑on Go development with microservices, APIs, cloud infrastructure, databases, and DevOps practices. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver secure, high-performing, and reliable solutions. Accountabilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain robust and scalable backend systems using Go, following established engineering best practices.
• Design and implement microservices and cloud‑based solutions that meet performance, security, reliability, and scalability requirements.
• Build and maintain RESTful and/or gRPC APIs to support reliable communication between services and applications.
• Work with cloud platforms and infrastructure, contributing to the implementation and management of services across environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Use containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, to support scalable and resilient applications.
• Work with relational and non‑relational databases, selecting and implementing appropriate data solutions for application requirements.
• Participate throughout the full software development lifecycle, from technical conception and development through testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate business and technical requirements into high‑quality software solutions.
• Apply CI/CD and DevOps practices to improve development efficiency, deployment reliability, and operational quality.
• Investigate technical challenges, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions using strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in engineering practices, architecture, testing, observability, and delivery processes.

Requirements

• Solid professional experience developing applications with Go (Golang) and applying Go development best practices.
• Experience in backend engineering and designing or implementing microservices architectures.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud computing environments, preferably AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes or comparable containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Experience working with both relational and non‑relational databases.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and/or gRPC.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with the capacity to investigate complex technical issues independently.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and distributed teams.
• Experience with distributed systems and event‑driven architectures is a plus.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack is advantageous.
• Experience with automated testing, including unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing, is valued.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban is a plus.
• Contributions to open‑source projects, participation in Go communities, or cloud certifications are considered additional advantages.
