Jobgether SRL is partnering with a client in Brazil to hire a Mid-Level Data Developer. The role focuses on building reliable, scalable data solutions and data pipelines to support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

You will work with cloud platforms, data warehouses, SQL, and languages like Python, Scala, or Java, while applying data quality, integration, performance optimization, and security practices. There is collaboration with senior engineers and analytics professionals.

Qualificações

• Experience building data pipelines with ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience with a major cloud platform (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Familiar with modern data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake.
• Knowledge of data warehousing (BigQuery/Snowflake/Redshift).
• SQL proficiency and one language (Python/Scala/Java).
• Basic data modeling and database design understanding.
• Good English (B2+) for international collaboration.
• Experience with international teams or clients.
• Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, Fivetran or Stitch is a plus.
• Cloud or data engineering certifications desirable.
• Knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform or CloudFormation) is helpful.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

As a Mid-Level Data Developer, you will help build reliable, scalable data solutions that support analytics and business intelligence initiatives.

You will develop and maintain data pipelines while contributing to modern cloud-based data architectures.

Working alongside senior engineers and analytics professionals, you will turn business requirements into practical technical solutions.

The role combines hands‑on data engineering with data quality, integration, performance optimization, and security.

You will work with technologies such as cloud platforms, data warehouses, SQL, and programming languages like Python, Scala, or Java.

You will also have opportunities to leverage AI tools and automation to improve engineering workflows and productivity.

Accountabilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes supporting analytics and business intelligence requirements.
• Assist with the implementation of data architectures, including data lakes, warehouses, and integration layers.
• Apply data quality checks, validation processes, and governance practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Support integrations between data sources, third‑party tools, APIs, and analytics platforms.
• Collaborate with Data & Analytics Managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and contribute to technical solutions.
• Monitor and help optimize data pipeline performance and query efficiency.
• Contribute to technical documentation covering data architectures, pipelines, processes, and integrations.
• Apply data security best practices and support compliance with data privacy requirements.
• Leverage AI tools and automation to improve data engineering workflows, efficiency, and productivity.

Requirements

• Professional experience developing data pipelines and working with ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience with at least one major cloud platform, such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.
• Working knowledge of data warehousing technologies including BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language, such as Python, Scala, or Java.
• Basic understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
• Good level of English, at B2 or above, with the ability to communicate in an international environment.
• Experience or exposure to working with international teams or clients.
• Familiarity with modern data stack tools such as dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, or Stitch is a plus.
• Cloud or data engineering certifications are desirable.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is an advantage.
• Spanish communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking, are a plus.
