Purpose

• As Marine Operations Engineer you ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of marine operations within the shorebase. You will support offshore activities by coordinating logistics, planning operations, and optimizing marine resources to meet production goals and maintain high safety standards.

Responsibilities

• You oversee daily marine operations, ensuring alignment with company safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• You coordinate vessel movements, cargo handling, and offshore personnel transfers to support continuous operations.
• You manage marine logistics, optimizing resources for cost-effective and timely operations.
• You liaise with offshore teams, contractors, and third-party service providers to ensure smooth operations.
• You contribute to the development and improvement of marine procedures and best practices.
• You monitor and report on marine asset performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related field
• Certification in offshore safety (e.g., BOSIET) is a plus.

Experience

• Experience in marine operations in the oil and gas industry
• Proficiency in marine operations software and tools
• Strong knowledge of maritime regulations and safety standards.
