Nextpower Inc is seeking a CNC and Laser Cutting Operator to join the metalworking shop floor. You will machine components and assemblies using CNC centers and lathes, and operate laser cutting equipment on metal parts.

The role requires 2 years’ experience, a technical engineering background, and welding skills. You will contribute to safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives on site in Sorocaba.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Technical degree from SENAI or equivalent (Machining, Mechanical, Manufacturing).
• Proven experience operating CNC machines in the metalworking industry.
• Experience with machining and laser cutting processes.
• Proficiency with MIG/MAG and stick welding.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and tolerances.
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Operate CNC machines (machining centers, lathes) in a metalworking environment.
• Operate laser cutting equipment for metal components.
• Perform basic setup, tooling adjustments, and parameter tuning.
• Execute machining operations according to drawings and process sheets.
• Perform MIG/MAG welding and shielded metal arc welding (stick welding).
• Interpret drawings, tolerances, and manufacturing instructions.
• Conduct dimensional and visual inspections.
• Support shop-floor 5S and data recording on production.
• Assist with basic equipment maintenance.
