Uber's Tech Center in Brazil is expanding, with Core Services, Delivery and Mobility teams growing to develop and grow their engineering capability. All local teams work globally to develop features impacting millions of users and support platform teams.

This role focuses on leading engineering managers, coaching teams, defining product roadmaps, and setting technical vision, while collaborating with Product, Operations, Design, and other partners to drive impact.

Qualificações

• Proven track record of coaching and growing engineers.
• 4+ years of engineering management experience.
• 7+ years experience in engineering.
• Ability to execute and drive product roadmap.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Managed teams sized 5 - 10 people.

The Tech Center in Brazil is expanding and Core Services, Delivery and Mobility teams are on the look for Engineering Managers to develop and grow their teams. All of our local teams work globally to develop features that impact millions of users worldwide as well as platform teams that support those engineering processes.

All of our open roles are impactful and with global interactions. The recruiting process will be unified at early stages to have better matching in terms of team allocation.

What The Candidate Will Do

• Manage, coach, and grow members of their team.

• Develop and lead through the senior engineers on the team

Basic Qualifications

• Proven track record of coaching and growing engineers.
• 4+ years of engineering management experience
• 7+ years experience in engineering
• Ability to execute and drive product roadmap
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Managed teams sized 5 - 10 people

Bonus points if

• Experience working at large companies (10k+)
• Experience with international stakeholders
