CBM360TIV is seeking a Load Test Engineer to execute and supervise load testing activities for lifting equipment, cranes, rigging systems, and structural components within oil & gas operations. The role demands strict adherence to safety, international standards, and operational precision.

Reporting To

Technical Manager / Operations Manager – Brazil

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document static & dynamic load tests.
• Inspect lifting equipment, cranes, shackles, slings, spreader beams, and related systems.
• Ensure compliance with international standards (ISO, ASME, LOLER where applicable).
• Prepare technical reports and certification documentation.
• Coordinate with client HSE and operations teams during offshore/onshore testing.

Education & Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Relevant lifting / load testing certification preferred.

Experience

• 3–7 years in oil & gas lifting inspections or load testing.
• Offshore exposure preferred.
• Experience working in refinery, port, or marine environments is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of load cells, hydraulic jacks, test weights, and calibration systems.
• Familiarity with Petrobras or international oil & gas compliance frameworks.
• Technical report writing proficiency.
