What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Engage with customers to position service or solution offerings delivered by the employer
- Collaborate with account managers and other departments to close business opportunities
- Work on assigned accounts or opportunities through the win strategy process
- Deliver top line orders and coordinate resources necessary for closing sales
- Support customers in various industries including automotive, food & beverage, and life sciences
What is Required (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience
- Ability to travel up to 40% to customer locations
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Strong understanding of process controls and automation solutions
- Proven experience in sales, particularly in engineering solutions and contract services
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- 5+ years of experience selling engineering solutions, projects, and contract services
- Industry experience in Power and Coordinated Automation
- Previous experience in Process Automation in Chemical, Energy, or Life Sciences sectors
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or other technical field strongly preferred
- Experience proposing and closing sales to achieve assigned territory revenue
