Viasat seeks an expert attorney to provide legal support for Viasat's business units via the in-house legal department in São Paulo, Brazil. This role will also involve collaboration with the business and legal teams from the United States, other Latin American countries, and Europe. We provide strategic support for satellite telecommunications operations. We ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, draft and review contracts, handle risk, and support business initiatives related to satellite communications, spectrum management, and international regulations.
By joining our legal team, you will gain hands‑on experience in satellite telecommunications law, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiations. You will have the opportunity to work on real cases involving spectrum allocation, international agreements, and industry regulations. You'll also engage with various customers, including regulatory agencies, external legal firms, and business units, gaining exposure to the complexities of the satellite industry.
