Kinetic Homes is an AI-native homebuilder focused on making homes affordable through tech-enabled operations. We are building a scalable technology stack and an internal operating system, KineticOS, to support autonomous homebuilding as we grow across Florida and Texas.

This role requires exceptional technologists with deep business operations insight, capable of deploying robust, elegant engineering solutions today while laying groundwork for future autonomous construction and operating systems.

Kinetic Homes is an AI native homebuilder based in Florida. The company builds homes in two states, Florida and Texas, and the company's mission is to drive affordability for first-time homebuyers. The way we do that is through our differentiated land acquisition strategy and tech-enabled operations.

The Opportunity for Technology in Homebuilding

We see significant immediate opportunity to deploy technology across our six main operating verticals, which are: (i) land acquisition, (ii) permitting & entitlement, (iii) financing, (iv) construction, (v) sales & marketing, and (vi) finance function (AP, FP&A, Treasury, etc). We believe if we do a good job, we can decrease the cost of an entry-level home by ~10-15% by avoiding the bloated cost structure that publicly traded homebuilders incur.

Longer term, we see a significant opportunity to introduce agentic workflows / autonomous decision making throughout the organization. We believe this will completely reshape how homebuilding companies are managed. Eventually, we believe that robotics will be deployed on-site which will eventually replace human subcontractors. While we think we are early today, we want to position ourself correctly for this future.

What This Role Will Require

This role is unique in that it will require an exceptional technologist with a deep understanding of business operations. Ultimately, we are looking for an ability to deploy systems level thinking, robust design choices and elegant engineering solutions to solve manual and complex workflows today.

Immediate priorities include designing and implementing a strong and scalable technology stack to build on, as well as a ramp-up on the business operations. After a thorough understanding is established, this role will work with the Founder to develop KineticOS, our internal operating system, to lay the groundwork of our tech-enabled operating system that we eventually believe will be able to build homes autonomously. This role will report directly to the Founder.

Qualification We Are Looking For

• Demonstrated track record of excellent work product & impact to their teams & organizations.
• Experience building and operating production systems end to end — domain model, architecture, deployment, and the on-call that follows.
• Strong systems design thinking and data modelling.
• Demonstrated production experience with agentic coding platforms (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, etc), LLMs, and creation & deployment of agents.
• Integration experience across various systems including ERPs, third party platforms, and other sources of data.
• Highly organized working style and clear communication.
• Fluent in at least one modern typed language and comfortable across all levels of the technology stack.
