Job Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code while demonstrating best practices in software craftsmanship
• Define and lead the technical vision and architectural direction for mission-critical distributed systems
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to engineering teams, fostering a deep understanding of architectural strategy
• Architect and implement scalable, high-performance, cloud‑native systems for mission‑critical applications
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to make key architectural decisions and drive projects from conception to completion

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of professional experience in software development, focusing on system and API design
• 7+ years of experience managing complex data models and high‑performance database systems
• Proven experience in a formal leadership role, including direct reports or leading multiple project teams
• Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React

Preferred Qualifications

• In‑depth, hands‑on expertise with key AWS cloud services and relevant certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
• Demonstrated experience with secure coding practices and knowledge of healthcare data security standards (e.g., HIPAA)
• Strong understanding of system performance optimization and cloud‑native design patterns
