Lead Data Engineer (Snowflake) at BairesDev

As a Lead Data Engineer (Snowflake), you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of robust data pipelines within our Snowflake environment. You will act as a key technical coordinator, aligning engineering efforts with strategic business requirements while ensuring high-performance data delivery.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and continuous ingestion workflows.
• Develop, optimize, and manage complex SQL queries and stored procedures to support downstream analytics.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to team members, promoting engineering best practices.
• Oversee end-to-end project delivery using agile project management methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align technical specifications with business objectives.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Database Development, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in Snowflake, including continuous ingestion with Snowpipe.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and developing stored procedures.
• Demonstrated ability in project delivery management using Jira, mentoring, and stakeholder alignment.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
