In this project, you will be a member of the Information Technology Team, within the Information Technology Division. This position supports and transforms existing and new mission critical and highly-visible operational website(s) and applications - spanning multiple technology stacks - through all phases of SDLC, while working collaboratively across IT, business, and third party suppliers from around the globe in a 24x7, fast-paced, and Agile based environment.
Responsibilities
- Participate in Data Governance meetings to provide guidance and advocate how we can help the business be more successful, including participation with Data Management organizations to define ownership, usage, security, and quality for all data.
- Work directly with Data Analysts, Solution Architects, and Vendors to understand and validate requirements and translate business requirements into technical requirements and designs.
- Develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, and implementation of a database.
- Logical design of Databases, Data Warehouses, and Multidimensional Databases including data flows, conception model, and logical models.
- Serve as a consulting resource for Delivery and Support.
- Create strategy and recommendations on a company's future data and tech policies.
- Collaborate with other team members to build the ideal database, data integration, and business intelligence infrastructure and platforms.
- Establish Data Architecture Design Patterns and best practices.
- Forward thinking on new technologies and patterns.
- Technology strategy and roadmaps.
Skills must have
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Data Architect.
- Extensive knowledge of data warehouse and BI techniques.
- In-depth hands-on working experience with Azure Synapse and Data Pipelines to ingest data from Azure (such as ADLS Gen 2.0) and non-Azure sources to Synapse.
- Working knowledge of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines to promote Synapse Databases and Data pipelines from non-production to production environments.
- In-depth hands-on working experience of Data modeling and Database Design.
- In-depth hands-on working experience of SQL, NoSQL, and Big Data knowledge.
- In-depth understanding of Azure Database Security, particularly Encryption, Obfuscation, Role-based Access control, etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Tools knowledge for Data Disciplines.
- Background in computer science and database management Relational DB.
