A leading analytical instrumentation company in São Paulo is seeking a Sales Development Representative to accelerate business growth across Latin America. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, at least 5 years of experience in sales, and proficiency in English and Portuguese. Responsibilities include developing strategies to capture new business opportunities and collaborating with sales teams to drive leads. This position involves travel and requires a current passport.

Qualificações

  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial or technical sales role in diagnostics.
  • Familiarity with microbiology workflows and MALDI-TOF is a plus.
  • Experience with hospital labs or private diagnostics is preferred.

  • The Bruker Sales Development Representative (SDR) will support and accelerate business growth across the Latin American region.

This role is ideal for a professional with a solid commercial or technical sales experience in the diagnostics, pharmaceutical, or industrial microbiology sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strategies to capture new business opportunities in clinical, food, pharma, and academic markets.
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers and Sales Specialists to drive qualified leads through the sales funnel.
  • Lead early-stage commercial discussions, organize technical presentations, and coordinate product evaluations.
  • Manage and update the sales pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Support strategic marketing activities including local events, webinars, and customer engagement campaigns.
  • Support TPAs in the assigned territory to increase sales of instruments in Food, Beverage, Agriculture, Pharma, and Research Markets.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive movements.
  • Adhere to company policies for expense control and meeting expense budgets.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related life sciences field, administration, or a similar area required; PhD preferred.
  • Previous experience in Industrial Microbiology field desired but not essential.
  • Solid understanding of microbiology workflows and technologies; familiarity with MALDI-TOF is a plus.
  • Familiarity with hospital labs, private diagnostics providers, or food / pharma quality labs in Latin America.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a commercial, technical sales, or customer‑facing role within the diagnostics or life sciences industry.
  • Proven ability to promote company products and services to a variety of prospects and customers and secure sales commitments.
  • Strong verbal, written, and technical presentation skills, including MS Office with advanced Excel applications proficiency.
  • Experience with CRM platforms (preferably Salesforce).
Additional Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple tasks and deliverables.
  • Must be self‑motivated and willing to take ownership of projects assigned by the management team.
  • Ability to travel on a routine basis and maintain a current Passport / US VISA / VISA as required for international travel.
  • Occasional weekend travel will be required.
  • The MAS must plan and execute individual travel per company travel guidelines and within expense budget objectives.
  • Proficient in English and Portuguese language.
  • Spanish proficiency is highly desirable.
  • This position reports directly to the Bruker MID LATAM Region Manager.
