Prysmian is seeking an HV System Analyst to join our LATAM HV Systems Team based in Sorocaba, Brazil, reporting to the System Engineer Manager. You will design and install HV cable system projects and provide technical support across project and commercial teams.

Responsibilities include preparing technical proposals, performing ampacity and short-circuit calculations, site visits for preventive actions, and contributing to system to cost initiatives. English is required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualificações

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on Energy.
• Experience in energy projects (HV, MV, overhead, renewables).
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical design tools considered a plus.
• Additional HV cable system project experience in electro-electronic domains is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design of HV system and installation design for cable projects.
• Prepare technical proposals for HV cable systems.
• Perform calculations (ampacity, short-circuit withstand, electrical parameters, magnetic field).
• Conduct on-site technical visits for preventive and corrective actions in installation design.
• Provide technical support to project management, installation, commercial and offers teams.
• Participate in design-to-cost initiatives and supplier development for HV systems.
• Engage with regulatory bodies and stay updated on market trends.

We are looking for a HV System Analyst to join our LATAM HV Systems Team Based in Sorocaba - Brazil, reporting to System Engineer Manager.

Main responsibilities:

• Responsible for system design
• Responsible for installation design.
• Prepare technical proposals of HV cable systems.
• Prepare calculations related to HV cable system such as ampacity, short-circuit withstand, electrical parameters, magnetic field and cable pulling.
• Technical visit on site in order to provide preventive and corrective actions in the installation design.
• Technical support to project management, installation, commercial and offers departments.
• Responsible for system and installation Design To Cost.
• Participate on regulatory bodies meetings, events and congresses.
• Keep up to date with market trends, through participation in seminars and meetings.
• Develop and approve new suppliers related to HV cable system.
• Promote new products and services related to the High Voltage cable system.

Who are we looking for?

• Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering - emphasis on Energy
• Experience: Previous experience in Energy Projects such as HV, MV, overhead, renewable.
• Further experience on HV cable system projects industry or electro-electronic will be considered consider as a plus.
• English at an intermediate level, Spanish in an advanced level is considered as a plus
• Knowledge on Autocad.
