In this position, you will contribute to deliver business requirements for group accounting environment with respect to USGAAP / IFRS reporting to ensure alignment to policy work and change management policy.

Main responsibilities :

• Contribute to ensure the successful deliverable of current USGAAP process in Colombia
• Work together with the Global IFRS Project Team and Workstreams;
• General requirements processing and prioritization with close coordination with the Business Unit Teams to capture requirements for local IFRS and Group IFRS reporting;
• Close coordination to the Finance, Actuarial and IT LatAm Teams to ensure the process changes implemented for IFRS are aligned to the overall group strategy;
• Assist in the interpretation of policy work and ensure process and system changes within the business unit landscape;
• Stakeholder management and ensuring alignment of communication with business unit;
• Collaborate with other areas in bringing innovative ideas for the success in relation to the assigned work, projects or other process enhancements
• Understand the flow of information, financial systems, appropriate reporting tools and use that knowledge to troubleshoot problems
• Position requires a great deal of creativity and problem solving
• Can work with mínimal instruction or guidance in moderately difficult assignments with diverse scope

About You

• 5 plus years of accounting / financial reporting experience.
• Big 4 a plus;
• Financial / Accounting experience in the (Re)Insurance industry
• (Re)Insurance working knowledge in areas such as Actuarial, Accounting, Finance, Treasury, FP&A, but not limited to;
• Fluent in Spanish and English
• Proven experience in delivering a transformation project
• Good understanding of IFRS 17 accounting and experience in external reporting
• Experience in interating with teams on development projects (define requirements, design, build, testing, go live);
• Accounting, Actuarial, Business or Economics certification (CPA, etc.) issued by a governing body;
• Digital, Database skills, operational improvement, and agile attitude;
• Strong problem solving, organization, and interpersonal skills;
