Jobtailor in Brazil seeks a labor law attorney with at least 6 months of labor law experience to join the team. You will draft pleadings for all stages, attend hearings, and prepare defenses before regulatory bodies, defending employers.

You will analyze files, advise clients, participate in meetings, and contribute to administrative tasks. Fluency in English or Spanish and OAB registration are valued, as is familiarity with AI tools in legal practice.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 6 months' experience in labor law practice (litigation or advisory)
• Active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB)
• Active digital certificate/token
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with Google Drive
• Comfortable using technology tools
• Plus: professional or academic experience or certification in Trade Union Law and/or Labor Law
• Plus: knowledge of Artificial Intelligence applied to law
• Plus: fluent English or Spanish
• Plus: publication of a legal academic article
• Plus: experience with legal case management systems

Responsabilidades

• Draft labor litigation pleadings for all procedural stages (trial and appellate, including enforcement/execution)
• Attend initial hearings, conciliation sessions, and evidentiary hearings, predominantly defending the respondent (employer)
• Prepare administrative defenses before regulatory/supervisory bodies (Ministry of Labor and Employment - MTE, Public Labor Prosecutor's Office - MPT, and other competent authorities)
• Analyze documents and case files to prepare legal advisory opinions
• Participate in client meetings to gather information and define litigation strategies
• Provide preventive guidance to companies in consultative meetings
• Prepare reports related to labor liabilities
• Populate and maintain the firm’s legal case management system
• Perform case status checks and conduct legal research
• Handle matters involving Labor Law, Trade Union Law, and Administrative Law related to public servants
• Assist more senior attorneys in managing matters
• Participate in internal meetings, study groups and training sessions
• Contribute to administrative tasks consistent with the role
