Jobtailor is seeking a Graphic Design student or graduate in Belo Horizonte, Brazil to craft standard manuals and visually engaging educational assets. You will work with MathType for equations, edit photos, and layout pages consistent with project standards.

Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator is required, with basic Word/Excel skills. Experience with MathType is a plus, and attention to detail is essential for quality educational content.

Qualificações

• Completed degree or currently studying in Graphic Design or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Proficiency with Adobe suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Bridge).
• Experience with InDesign.
• Knowledge of MathType is a plus.

Responsabilidades

Responsibilities

• Create standard manuals for projects, aiming to preserve Bernoulli’s standards and quality.
• Equations and formulas – Develop and apply equations and formulas according to the technical standards of each exact-science discipline (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology), using the available tool (MathType) to produce the required equations and standardize them for each segment.
• Check each digital asset, taking responsibility for the quality and the proper functioning of interactive elements.
• Create the visual concept for digital assets (books, websites, image- and video-based questions), placing and organizing graphic elements in the layout such as text, photos, illustrations, charts and infographics, while respecting the project’s graphic standards and responsibilities. Also indicate the experiences expected or desired from the candidate and the visual identity specifications, aiming for readability, organization and visual appeal of the book.
• Perform photo editing to improve the technical quality of images; develop graphics and tables, visually and technically standardizing graphic elements to ensure good legibility of printed material for student and teacher comprehension.
• Transcribe texts provided as images into editable formats, improving readability of content to support student learning and maintain visual and aesthetic unity of the material.
• Analyze guidelines and documentation from the areas related to each publication; perform assembly, layout and corrections of notes from proofreading, the pedagogical analyst and the author; create pages with a creative approach and adjust them according to each publication’s visual proposal to engage students, ensure editorial and pedagogical standards and support learning through visual organization of the publication.
• Design pages for each publication, evaluating the best composition for each segment/collection and organizing graphic elements such as text, photos, illustrations, charts, maps and infographics, following the technical standards of each collection’s graphic design to ensure readability, organization and visual appeal of every page.

Requirements

• Completed degree or currently studying in Graphic Design and/or related fields;
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel);
• Proficiency with the Adobe suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Bridge);
• Experience with InDesign;
• Knowledge of MathType is a plus.
