Job summary

CI&T is seeking a Mid iOS Mobile Developer in Brazil to design, develop, and implement mobile solutions that meet complex project requirements. You will work within a collaborative, transforming, and multicultural environment to deliver high-quality apps.

You will lead and mentor junior developers, participate in code reviews, and optimize performance while contributing to development process improvements. Strong Swift/SwiftUI skills and iOS architecture knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and iOS platform tooling.
• Experience developing and shipping iOS apps with MVVM/MVC/VIPER patterns.
• Experience with unit/UI testing (XCTest) and performance profiling.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, memory management, and CoreData.

Position Overview:

As a Mid iOS Mobile Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing mobile software solutions that meet the complex requirements of our projects. Your contributions will help shape the future of mobile applications, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities: How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, designers, and product managers, to create user-friendly iOS applications.
• Architect, develop, and maintain modular and scalable iOS solutions using Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C.
• Lead and mentor junior developers, providing guidance and best practices to enhance the team’s skills.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, performance, and consistency.
• Optimize applications for performance and efficiency, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Must-have Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI.
  • Deep knowledge of the iOS SDK, Xcode, and native libraries/frameworks.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and WebSockets.
  • Familiarity with software architecture principles like MVVM, MVC, or VIPER.
  • Experience with unit and UI testing, using frameworks like XCTest.
  • Knowledge of memory management, performance optimization, and code profiling in the iOS environment.
  • Experience with CoreData, CoreAnimation, and third-party libraries.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for iOS and build automation is a plus.

• Nice-to-have Skills:

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with design patterns and best practices in mobile development.
