CI&T is seeking a Senior Data Developer (Azure) in Brazil to lead development and optimization of data systems on Azure. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, scalable data solutions using Python, PySpark, and SQL.

Key responsibilities include incident resolution, rollbacks, SOP/runbook creation, and improving monitoring and observability. This role emphasizes collaboration, continuous improvement, and strong problem-solving across a diverse, global team.

Qualificações

• Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
• Experience with Databricks and Azure.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Familiarity with unit testing, Git, and SCM/CI.
• Strong problem solving and troubleshooting for complex systems.
• Experience with SOPs and runbooks.
• Experience with monitoring and observability.
• Understanding of data architecture and data pipelines.

• Drive a Shift Left mindset by helping establish standards for runbook documentation.
• Perform corrective maintenance to ensure optimal performance of data systems.
• Enhance monitoring and observability practices to improve reliability and performance of the data ecosystem.
• Participate in and help lead post-mortem analysis to identify root causes of incidents and collaborate on preventative action plans.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Data Developer, you will lead the development and optimization of data systems on Azure, playing a crucial role in ensuring our data solutions are robust and efficient. Your expertise in Python, PySpark, and SQL will be essential as you work closely with cross-functional teams to tackle complex challenges and deliver high-quality data-driven solutions that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Resolve Level 3 incidents by proactively diagnosing issues and implementing solutions.
• Roll back changes when necessary to restore operations and minimize downtime.
• Assist teams in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and runbooks for efficient workflows.
• Drive a "Shift Left" mindset by helping establish standards for effective runbook documentation.
• Perform corrective maintenance to ensure optimal performance of data systems.
• Enhance monitoring and observability practices to improve the reliability and performance of the data ecosystem.
• Participate in and help lead post-mortem analysis to identify root causes of incidents and collaborate on preventative action plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Must-have Skills:

• Proficiency in Python / PySpark
• Experience with Databricks and Azure
• Strong SQL skills
• Familiarity with unit testing, Git, and Software Configuration Management / Continuous Integration (SCM/CI)
• Strong problem-solving abilities and troubleshooting expertise for complex systems
• Knowledge of creating and implementing SOPs and runbooks
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools and practices
• Understanding of data architecture and best practices for data pipelines is a plus
• Advanced English proficiency
