Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Squad Leader/Manager to lead one or more high-performing squads in a SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environment. This role combines tactical leadership with operational excellence, focusing on delivering exceptional value to healthcare clients while developing team members and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire one or more agile squads (5-10 people per squad)
  • Provide coaching leadership, balancing autonomy with guidance based on team maturity
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and create individual development plans
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance
  • Develop team members' technical and soft skills through structured feedback and mentoring
  • Manage medium-term planning aligned with client roadmaps and business outcomes
  • Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client expectations
  • Maintain direct relationships with healthcare clients and internal stakeholders
  • Manage client expectations and drive account expansion opportunities
  • Represent squad capabilities and roadmaps in client meetings and strategic discussions
  • Champion SAFe practices and ceremonies at the squad level
  • Ensure alignment with Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and portfolio objectives
  • Make data-driven decisions on resource allocation, prioritization, and scope management
📋 Required Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of leadership experience managing agile teams
  • 2+ years working in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) environments
  • Experience managing client relationships and driving business outcomes
  • Experience with software development lifecycle and modern engineering practices
  • Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and quality assurance processes
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal) - REQUIRED
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Healthcare industry experience (US market) - STRONG PLUS
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements (HIPAA, FDA, etc.)
  • SAFe certifications (SP, POPM, or similar)
  • Agile coaching certifications (ICP-ACC, CSP-SM, etc.)
  • PMP or similar project management certification
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
