Descrição da oferta de emprego

We are tech transformation specialists, uniting human expertise with AI to create scalable tech solutions.

With over 7,400 CI\&Ters around the world, we’ve built partnerships with more than 1,000 clients during our 30 years of history. Artificial Intelligence is our reality.

Location: Brazil (Remote)

Industry: MedTech / Reproductive Health Supply Chain

Project Type: Post-M&A data platform consolidation

The Project: Post-M&A Data Integration

You’ll be joining a strategic data platform integration project to consolidate data from different acquired companies into one unified Azure-based data warehouse. They need to break down data silos and build a unified global data warehouse that gives leadership a single source of truth for operations, finance, and business performance across their global footprint.

The Mission:
  • Integrate disparate data systems (NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics NAV, Business Central, Oracle) from multiple acquired companies.
  • Build a modern Azure data platform that scales globally.
  • Enable executive decision-making with unified financial and operational reporting.
  • Support PE investors and board with consolidated company performance data.
  • Prepare for Salesforce CRM migration by establishing clean, integrated data foundation.
What You’ll Do
Data Platform Development (50%)
  • Design and build Azure Data Factory pipelines to integrate data from multiple ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics NAV, Business Central).
  • Architect dimensional data models (star schema, fact/dimension tables) for consolidated financial and operational reporting.
  • Build data transformation logic to harmonize data across 9 different company systems.
  • Optimize Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Lake implementations for performance and cost.
  • Implement data quality validation to ensure accuracy across source systems.
Technical Leadership (30%)
  • Guide technical implementation with the Data Product Manager on architecture decisions.
  • Establish data engineering standards for the new global platform.
  • Debug and resolve production issues independently – you’re the go‑to technical expert.
  • Document data flows, transformations, and business logic for the platform.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across different acquired companies and geographies.
Multi‑Source Data Integration (20%)
  • Extract data from legacy ERP systems – navigating different technical platforms (Oracle, Microsoft).
  • Build data mappings between different systems’ schemas and business logic.
  • Handle data consolidation challenges (duplicate customers, product matching, currency conversion, multi‑entity hierarchies).
  • Validate data completeness and reconcile against source systems.
  • Support stakeholder requirements for consolidated reporting needs.
What You Need to Succeed
Core Requirements: Azure Data Engineering Expertise (Non‑Negotiable)
  • 5+ years hands‑on data engineering building production data pipelines.
  • Expert‑level Azure Data Factory experience – this is your primary tool (not nice‑to‑have, REQUIRED).
  • Strong Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Lake Storage experience.
  • Advanced SQL skills – complex queries, joins, performance tuning, query optimization.
Core Requirements: Data Modeling & Warehousing
  • Dimensional modeling expertise – star schema, fact tables, dimension tables (you’ve built these in production).
  • Data warehouse design – understanding best practices for analytics and reporting.
  • Experience with multi‑source data integration – combining data from different systems.
Core Requirements: Problem‑Solving & Independence
  • Debugging inherited/incomplete infrastructure – you can pick up someone else’s code and fix it.
  • Independent problem‑solving – figure things out without constant hand‑holding.
  • Production support experience – troubleshooting live issues under pressure.
Core Requirements: Communication
  • English proficiency for stakeholder communication (US and EMEA teams).
  • Technical documentation skills – you write clear, helpful docs.
  • Collaboration across teams – work with product, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
Highly Valuable (Nice‑to‑Have)
ERP Systems Experience
  • NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics NAV, or Business Central integration.
  • Understanding of financial data models (chart of accounts, general ledger, P&L).
  • Multi‑entity/multi‑company ERP implementations.
Data Quality & MDM
  • Master Data Management (MDM) concepts – customer/product matching logic.
  • Data deduplication and consolidation.
  • Data quality validation frameworks.
Domain Knowledge
  • Healthcare or medical device industry experience.
  • Understanding of regulatory/compliance requirements (HIPAA, medical data).
  • Supply chain or logistics data.
Additional Tools
  • Power BI for data visualization.
  • Oracle database experience.
  • Salesforce data integration.
Why This Role?
High‑Impact Project
  • Lead a critical consolidation initiative for a company that just went through massive M&A.
  • Direct impact on executive decision‑making – board and PE investors rely on your data.
  • Global scope – data spanning EMEA and USA operations.
  • Visible results – you’re building the foundation for the entire company’s data strategy.
Technical Challenge
  • Complex integration problem – 9 different companies, multiple ERP systems, disparate data models.
  • Modern Azure stack – work with current cloud technologies.
  • Architecture opportunity – design decisions that impact the entire platform.
  • Salesforce migration support – be part of CRM transformation.
Career Growth
  • Lead‑level experience without pure management – technical leadership with hands‑on work.
  • M&A integration expertise – highly valuable and transferable skill.
  • Healthcare domain knowledge – specialized industry experience.
  • Azure expertise – deepen skills in high‑demand cloud platform.
Team & Environment
  • Strategic role – you’re guiding technical decisions, not just executing tasks.
  • Collaborative team.
  • International exposure – US and EMEA stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate

You’re likely a great fit if you can say:

  • ✅ “I’ve built production data pipelines in Azure Data Factory – it’s my primary tool.”
  • ✅ “I have strong dimensional modeling experience – I’ve designed star schemas for analytics.”
  • ✅ “I’ve integrated data from multiple ERP or business systems before.”
  • ✅ “I’m comfortable debugging inherited code and fixing production issues independently.”
  • ✅ “I’ve worked on data consolidation or integration projects (bonus if post‑M&A). ”
  • ✅ “I write advanced SQL and can optimize queries for performance.”
  • ✅ “I can work independently but collaborate well with product and business teams.”

This might NOT be the right fit if:

  • ❌ You’re looking for pure people management – this is technical leadership, not team management.
  • ❌ You’re uncomfortable with complex, messy data integration challenges.
  • ❌ You prefer greenfield projects over consolidating existing systems.
  • ❌ Azure Data Factory is not your strength (it’s non‑negotiable here).
Common Questions

“Is this a ’lead’ role with people management?”

No – this is technical leadership, not people management. You’ll guide architecture and implementation, mentor through code reviews, but you won’t have direct reports. Think “Lead Developer” not “Development Manager.”

“What happens after the end of the project?”

Based on success and company needs, there may be opportunities to extend for ongoing platform development, Salesforce integration work, or other Clients’ and CI&T projects.

“How much of this is ERP‑specific vs. general data development?”

About 60% general Azure data development, 40% ERP/business system integration. You don’t need to be an ERP expert, but understanding how to extract and model financial/operational data is important.

“What’s the most challenging part of this project?”

Consolidating data from 9 different companies with different systems, business processes, and data quality standards – creating consistent, unified data models that serve global reporting needs.

“What level of English is required?”

You’ll need to communicate clearly in written and verbal English – daily chat messages, video meetings with US/EMEA stakeholders, technical documentation. It doesn’t need to be perfect, but professional communication is essential.
