Your role

• Work directly with trading desks, designing and overseeing deliveries on our electronic trading applications. Everyone in the group is integral to the development and support operation of the platform as a whole.
• The platform is key for Brazil business as #1 institutional broker dealer in the region.
• The platform is sophisticated and demands high‑caliber developers that can operate as an integral member of the team, as well as self‑directed for development execution.
• Market link technology, specifically understanding of FIX, is an advantage.
• The core build technology domain include Java / React / Oracle / Linux / Maven / GitLab / Scripting / Test‑Driven Methods & Agile Process / OO Design & Principles.

Your team

You will work within IT Brazil team based in São Paulo (Ave Faria Lima), analyze, develop and deliver global solutions to maintain or change our IT systems with our business counterparts. Overall, being part of the IT development department offers you the opportunity to collaborate with exceptional technology and distinguished financial market professionals. Work in the hybrid model (3x office and 2x home).

Your expertise

• Software engineer or developer with knowledge on high‑availability, high‑performance and distributed solutions concepts.
• Java development skills.
• Experience with object‑oriented programming and clear understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Comfortable with standard SDLC tools such as code repository handling in Git, CI/CD, testing frameworks and designing, planning and delivering solutions.
• Produce secure and clean code that is stable, operational, consistent, and well‑performing.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent with a focus in computer science or engineering.
• Knowledge in C++, Python, Unix operating systems, and scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Bash) are a plus.
• Ability to influence others and advocate for technical excellence, with high degree of attention to details.
• Fluent Portuguese and English - daily communication with global teams.
