What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Oversee and manage technical IT projects, ensuring goals and objectives are met within prescribed time frames
• Collaborate with customers, IT stakeholders, and vendors to define project scope and develop project plans
• Schedule and facilitate project status meetings to keep stakeholders informed on project progress
• Identify and resolve project issues and risks, escalating when necessary to leadership
• Mentor junior project managers and contribute to continuous improvement activities in project management

What is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in project management, IT, engineering, or business
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required or ability to obtain within 6 months
• 7-10 years of experience in project management, including software/system project experience
• Proven success in managing multiple vendors in a highly matrixed environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with tools used for project management (e.g., MS Project, Planview, ServiceNow PPM, Clarity, Jira)
• Business process flow analysis experience
• Healthcare project management experience (e.g., hospital, health insurance, pharmacy)
• Prior supervisory experience is a plus
• Master’s degree preferred
