Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking an IT Infrastructure/Systems Engineer to design, build, and support corporate networks, servers, and storage across on-premise and cloud environments.

The role requires 6+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise networks, servers, and storage, plus strong hands-on with Palo Alto, Cisco, and Juniper, and expertise in AD, cloud, and disaster recovery. Flexibility for after-hours work is expected.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience with enterprise local and wide area networks, servers and storage.
• Experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, and Juniper equipment and software.
• Strong experience deploying and administering firewalls, switches and wireless infrastructure.
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Server OS & Active Directory.
• Cloud compute and storage experience (AWS and Azure).
• Experience working in a SOX regulated company.
• Disaster recovery and business continuity development experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (Office 365 Mail, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Experience with patch deployment.
• Vendor management and interaction with MSPs.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 international company (US & EMEA).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support corporate networks, servers, storage, telephony and systems.
• Implement observable, secure and fault-tolerant solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and domains.
• Serve as internal escalation point for day-to-day operations.
• Plan and execute projects across the infrastructure landscape.
• Lead and participate in infrastructure, systems and application projects.
• Device lifecycle support including vulnerability remediation and firmware upgrades.
• Vendor management for hardware, software, and service issues.
• Help define and execute infrastructure strategy across the enterprise.
• Support global operations for remote, manufacturing and office-based workforces.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an IT Infrastructure/Systems Engineer to design, build, and support corporate networks, servers, and storage across on-premise and cloud environments.

MUST HAVES

• 6+ years of hands-on engineering experience with enterprise local and wide area networks, servers and storage systems.
• Network Equipment Experience: hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Cisco, and Juniper equipment and software.
• Strong experience deploying and administering firewalls, switches and wireless infrastructure (Physical and Virtual).
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Server operating Systems & Active Directory.
• Strong experience with cloud compute and storage (AWS and Azure) with cloud first approach.
• Experience working in a SOX regulated company a must.
• Previous experience developing disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft collaboration suite (Office 365 Mail, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Experience with patch deployment required.
• Self-sufficient, self-managed, self-motivated, must be effective working independently.
• A service-oriented mindset with a focus on creating value for our internal customers and business partners.

• Minimum AA degree in Information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience.
• AWS/Azure Certifications a plus.
• Experience with network and systems monitoring a plus.
• Experience with ITIL a plus.
• Experience with Linux a plus.
• Previous experience in healthcare, life-science, pharma or bio company a plus.
