Position Overview

We are seeking an Inventory Planning Lead to coordinate inventory management, and supply chain efficiency across the LATAM region. This pivotal role combines inventory management and supply chain analytics to ensure optimal stock levels, reduce costs, and support business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical approach, excellent interpersonal skills, and a results-driven approach to enhance inventory accuracy, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance. The Inventory Planning Lead will answer directly to Medtech Strategy and IBP Leader for LATAM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as facilitator for the regional inventory projection as well as excess, slow moving and obsolete consolidation.
  • Based on statistical concepts and best practices, generate statistical safety, pipeline and cycle stock for Medtech products.
  • Manage the dashboards and tools for the inventory management area.
  • Generate analytical insights and tools for inventory optimization across the region.
  • Conduct monthly inventory & E&O reviews, as well as acting as a facilitator for the target setting processes across the organization.
  • Orchestrate the rebalancing processes, optimizing the overall inventory for the region by levelling the stocks between countries.
  • Maintain the integrity of the current and future reports, dashboards and tools.
  • Determines and/or drives the most effective regional or global sourcing rules.
  • Map and document process flows inventory Management LATAM.
  • Work cross-functionally as needed in the development, launch, and support of new local and regional processes and tools.
Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economics, Engineering or STEM.
  • APICS Certification is preferred.
  • Advanced Degree is a plus.
Experience and Skills
Required
  • 5 years combined functional experience in the areas of purchasing, inventory management, manufacturing, planning, or warehousing.
  • Experience and/or interest in medical devices industry is preferred.
  • Interpersonal skills and the ability to work with multifunctional teams.
Preferred
  • Broad understanding of business and supply chain requirements with adapting quickly to industry specific demands.
  • Excellent follow-through and problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Strong analytical, computer (PC and ERP systems), SAP and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint) skills.
Other
  • Advanced Spanish strongly recommended.
  • Advanced English strongly recommended.
