As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems used in offshore production operations. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to support operational excellence and ensure that all instrumentation equipment complies with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and specify instrumentation and control devices for offshore production platforms, aligning with project and operational requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections, calibrations, and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and accuracy.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve instrumentation issues promptly, minimizing downtime.
• Collaborate with project engineers, operations personnel, and third-party contractors to integrate instrumentation systems seamlessly.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
• Develop and maintain detailed documentation including instrumentation layouts, specifications, calibration records, and maintenance procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by recommending upgrades and innovations in instrumentation technologies.
• Support commissioning and startup activities by verifying and validating instrumentation systems performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Professional experience within offshore production or oil & gas industries is highly desirable.
• Strong expertise in instrumentation technologies including sensors, transmitters, controllers, and calibration tools.
• Proficiency in instrumentation design software and familiarity with control systems such as DCS and SCADA.
• Demonstrated ability to work safely within offshore environments, with a solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese is preferred, considering the local operational context.
