An international e-commerce company in São Paulo is seeking an experienced Insights and Measurement Lead. This role involves leveraging proprietary data and third-party research to deliver actionable insights for C-suite marketing leaders. The successful candidate will possess over 7 years in data analysis roles and have a strong background in advertising measurement methodologies, coupled with skills in SQL and analytical tools. This position promotes data-driven decision-making and requires excellent communication abilities.

Amazon Ads operates at the intersection of e-commerce and advertising, offering a rich array of advertising solutions. We partner with advertisers to reach Amazon customers across our owned and operated sites like Prime Video and Twitch, and on other high-quality sites across the web, and on devices.

We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Insights and Measurement Lead to help scale our growing advertising business.

The Insights and Measurement Lead is a key member of the sales organization at Amazon Ads, taking a consultative approach, building deep relationships with advertisers, sales, account management, retail, and other Amazon business partners to analyze and measure the success of advertisers' performance on Amazon.

Key job responsibilities
  • Leverage Amazon's proprietary data, third-party research, and Ad measurement solutions to generate actionable insights for C-suite marketing leaders.
  • Own senior-level measurement and insights customer relationships and partner across strategic learning objectives that influence business decision-making.
  • Present findings consultatively, collaborating with internal teams to deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems, and translate analytical concepts into actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to influence sales and marketing initiatives across multiple business functions and geographies.
  • Educate stakeholders on Amazon's insights and measurement offerings through learning sessions, documentation, and whitepapers.
  • Advocate for data-driven decision-making, driving thought leadership and encouraging advertisers to act on recommendations.
A day in the life

On a daily basis, Insights and Measurement Lead activities include analyzing and measuring metrics of success for an advertiser business or category, developing data-driven insights and recommendations for executive client leadership, and communicating recommendations in a clear and compelling fashion. The strategic and consultative digital advertising expertise of the Insights and Measurement Lead is critical to delivering the best return on investment for our customers.

About the team

The Analytics & Insights (A&I) organization leverages Amazon's data to develop actionable insights for advertisers. By providing insights and measurement solutions, A&I enhances marketers' decision-making processes, measurably improving their success on and off Amazon.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience in client-facing data analysis roles, including 5+ years in digital media / AdTech consulting or advertising with a top agency or brand.
  • Expertise in translating technical analyses into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders, with excellent data-driven storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in advertising measurement methodologies, marketing mix modeling, and attribution frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of advanced statistical techniques, including regression analysis, segmentation and machine learning.
  • Proficiency in SQL for complex data manipulation and metric creation, along with fluency in analytical tools (Python, R, SAS, etc.).

  • Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) in Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Advertising, or Business; or equivalent Digital media planning experience.
  • Experience with advertising publishers, marketing / creative agencies, and campaign management.
