We are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full‑time Manager of IT.
The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many different hats including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud‑based IT systems and tools.
A successful candidate will have demonstrated previous success in similar role(s) in rapidly growing, security‑first environments.
The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code.
But, just as passionate about helping end users who are in need of help. You will be a participant in the design, implementation and management of our growing corporate cloud first infrastructure and networks.
You will have a passion for innovation and creative problem solving, as well as be adaptable to the ever‑changing landscape of the corporate infrastructure environment.
You will need to be a highly motivated, dependable and an experienced technologist who shares our passion and wants to be a part of a fast‑moving and highly execution‑oriented team. You will work closely with your Cybersecurity/IT peers and key stakeholder teams, including, but not limited to, Customer Success, Marketing, Engineering and HR.
This role will report to the Director of IT. You will be customer‑facing, and the first line of support; you own support and you are passionate about providing an outstanding support experience to our employees — via Slack, Jira, etc. We’re all Mac.
You are a pro at troubleshooting, using the terminal, and making macOS work in the enterprise. You will be responsible for procuring and delivering technology equipment. You will own the experience of tech onboarding of all new employees as well as tech retrieval of all outgoing employees.
You’ll design, test, build, and document programs and policies and tools, and contribute improvements to existing knowledge with your experience and background. You’ll support and manage SaaS applications — Google Workspace (GSuite), Slack, Jamf Pro, Jamf Protect, Jamf Connect, Okta, Jira, etc. You will work with and manage Mac endpoint and mobile device management tools — MDM, EMM, Jamf, etc. You’ll own and contribute to improvements on IDP and SSO tools (GSuite, Okta, etc.). You’ll detail your solutions, craft help articles and automate busywork.
Manage, respond to, and fix critical incidents and issues as needed, through to completion. You’re comfortable juggling help desk tickets and can effectively prioritise them. You’ll work on projects over sprints, and detail your work in tools like Jira (you’re experienced with agile methods and sprints).
