Job summary

Micron Semiconductor Asia Operations PTE LTD is seeking an Industrial Engineer to leverage advanced analytics and AI tools to perform capacity analysis and support strategic planning across tactical and long-term horizons.

You will collaborate with Central Planning, Factory Network, and Supply Chain teams to develop scenarios and pursue opportunities for the site, with emphasis on AI readiness and data-driven decision making. Prior experience with Generative AI or Agentic AI will be valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical/Computer engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of leadership experience in university or co-curricular activities.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint (M365).
• Highly motivated to perform in a dynamic environment with effective coping strategies.
• Ability to multi-task and organize work to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communicator with ability to collaborate across levels.
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
• Prior programming work, including vibe coding with free Gen AI tools.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools (Chatbot, Agentic AI, Automation).
• Internship or semiconductor industry experience is a plus.
• Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.
• Ability to apply AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly for research, analysis, and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and validate capacity model and capital plan for cost-effective factory loading.
• Coordinate tool installation and location with facilities and area engineers.
• Apply AI in data modeling, capacity optimization, and capital scheduling.
• Deploy project management and bottleneck strategies to meet short- and long-term targets.
• Visualization to present factory constraints for cost improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes considering trade-offs.
• Deploy AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency and outcomes for self and teams.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools into daily work while complying with standards and legal requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by testing and sharing AI-enabled enhancements.

Job description

As an Industrial Engineer, you willleverageadvanced analytics and AI tools to perform capacity analysis, propose strategies to management, and execute plans that support volume forecasts across tactical and long-term horizons. In this role, you will collaborate with Central Planning, Factory Network, and Supply Chain teams to develop scenarios and pursue strategic opportunities for the site. Candidates with hands-on experience or strong familiarity with Generative AI, Agentic AI, or other AI-driven solutions will stand out as innovators ready to shape the future of planning

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintain andvalidatecapacity model and capital plan to enableaccurateassessment ofcost effectivefactory loading needs
• Coordinate tool installation and location with facilities personnel and area engineers
• Leverage AI in applying novel and relevant industrial engineering and data engineering skills to master data modeling, advance capacity optimization andoptimizecapital scheduling
• Deploy effective project management and constraint debottlenecking strategiesfacilitatingfactory achievement of manufacturing Statement of Supply commits in the tactical horizon

Job Requirements/Qualification/ Selection Criteria:

• Bachelorsdegree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical/Computerengineeringor related fieldspreferable
• Demonstrated at least 2 years of leadership skills, such as in university or other co-curricular activities
• Advance verbal fluency and effective written communication and presentation skills
• Proficiencyin M365 Apps such as MicrosoftExcel,Microsoft PowerPoint
