Job Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed sales and territory objectives by developing and executing strategic business plans for the nephrology market
- Collaborate with portfolio representatives to identify opportunities and optimize customer engagement
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with opinion leaders, physicians, and key decision-makers in nephrology
- Communicate complex disease‑state and therapeutic information effectively to customers
- Attend regional and national conferences to build relationships and promote nephrology initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience in nephrology required
- In lieu of a bachelor's degree, an associate's degree with 7+ years or 10+ years of relevant experience will be considered
- Current experience within the territory and knowledge of customer dynamics
- Proven success in selling biologics or specialty pharmaceuticals to nephrologists
- Valid motor vehicle operator's license and ability to travel locally up to 40%
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in larger, complex territories with multiple account types (private practice, academic, institutional)
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration and influencing skills within matrixed teams
