Responsibilities
- IATF Audit Leadership: Conduct comprehensive IATF audits to evaluate automotive manufacturing processes, risk management, and performance standards. Identify opportunities for improvement based on audit findings.
- Customer-Centric Process Evaluation: Utilize your industry knowledge to assess organizations’ alignment with customer-specific requirements, ensuring the organization’s processes meet OEM expectations.
- Data Analysis & Decision-Making: Collect, analyze, and synthesize audit data, drawing accurate conclusions on the effectiveness of management systems and corrective actions.
- Statistical Process Control Expertise: Audit the application of SPC tools in manufacturing, understand process stability, and contribute insights to ensure manufacturing processes remain in control.
- FMEA Expertise: Analyze and audit Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) processes, both design and process variants, to ensure product / process design aligns with industry standards.
- Measuring System Analysis (MSA): Guide organizations on the effective application of MSA, ensuring accurate and reliable measurements to maintain quality standards.
- IATF Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure the organization’s management system is IATF compliant, identifying potential system weaknesses and auditing accordingly.
- Rule Enforcement: Stay up to date with the latest IATF standards and rules, identifying non-compliance, and ensuring immediate corrective action.
Qualifications
- Proven Expertise: In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and other relevant industry standards.
- Relevant Experience: At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering within the automotive supply chain. At least 2 years of experience in Quality Management, ideally with direct exposure to IATF OEM clients.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to synthesize and analyze data to drive informed decision-making.
- Effective Communication: Strong listening, speaking, and writing skills to collaborate effectively with teams and clients.
- Persuasive & Influential: Ability to persuade and influence stakeholders to embrace corrective actions and improvements.
- Adaptability: Comfort with active learning, adapting to new auditing techniques, and applying them to real-world scenarios.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
- Travel Requirements: This position requires 100% travel to client locations (domestic and international), including land and air travel.
